  Spectacular views, friendly staff and owner, good service at Wellman Lake Lodge. Anything outdoors will be an adventure.

  Quite different from a busy, cramped, well groomed campground with lots of services. Depends what you like.

  If you like nature and peace and quiet this is great place to camp. Many of the camp site are quite spacious with lots of privacy. The firewood is also free at the campground entrance. It is not uncommon to see deer cautious walking within view of campsites. We saw an elk while we were there. Good fishing areas as well. The trails were adequately groomed and the lake had few very boats driving around. We enjoyed it.
